National Standards Organisations
Standards are published documents that provide specifications and procedures that can be used to ensure the highest quality and safety requirements are adopted for the intended purpose of products, services and systems. Standards also help to make sure things will perform consistently and in the way that was intended. Because of different materials, requirements, customs and environments different areas around the world often adopt different standards to better suit their needs.
